Trades union council to hold meeting on council housing

Redbridge Trades Union Council to hold meeting on council housing at RAFA House in Cranbrook Road, Ilford

The recently revived Redbridge Trades Union Council is to hold a talk on the issue of council housing at a meeting next week.

The event, on Friday July 19 at RAFA House in Cranbrook Road, Ilford, will feature?Glyn Robbins of the Defend Council Housing group.

He will give a brief historical overview of council housing before touching on modern issues such as privatisation programmes, housing associations, the so-called 'bedroom tax' and other benefit changes.

The meeting will start at 7.30pm.
